Seems like today in the all-casual emerging era it is really a challenge to create something new and fresh on that field. The theme of the casual is really a frequent thing and has become an inevitable occasion when we talk not only the street style but the high fashion, too. This "movement" is a perfect style and design reference when we talk about Jil Sander fashion. Jil Sander has become known for the clean and polished looks which are strongly accentuated by high minimalism. But this minimalism is not something that is strict. It is comforting, easy and soft.
Well, at least this kind of the minimalistic approach was on the scene in the Autumn/Winter 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection. The minimalistic touch is always here and featured regards the futuristic vibes too, and so here in this collection, we have been served with the clothes that step to another level of casual. The soft lines and a little hint of the cool volume are the main points of this collection. The cozy coats with the blanket stola alike features wrapped around. The pillow-soft textures have looked in this collection light and not too heavy giving us the anti-gravitation vibes.
The absence of the visible stitches, the dictate of the textures, the mostly white ensembles with the few tweed interruptions. All of that was on the point here. Evocating the modern and light extravagant features, this collection has shown how making the different design can look mainstream ok and desirable to the fashion consumers that know what futuristic style is and how it will look like. Not only it was comfort clothing but it was a comfort fashion step from the future!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like this pure minimalistic style? Do you find it experimental and extravagant?
Thank you for the attention!
