LOUIS VUITTON SPRING/SUMMER 2019 RESORT COLLECTION

Some other kind of resort aesthetic! With these words, the latest resort collection for Spring/Summer 2019 by Louis Vuitton could be described. If you follow the fashion news, you could see resort collections everywhere and you could notice much loosed up elegance with the airy and non-conventional styles brought through the perspective of modern Summer romanticism.

But in the case of Louis Vuitton, seems like this kind of typical resort aesthetic have emerged differently. With the more sculpted forms and structurally clean volume, this collection has shown the other and edgy side of resort fashion! The only imperative of resort looks is definitely brought in the shape of mini dresses, mini skirts, or mini pants. In this case, that casual note was obviously enough, because if we look at the upper parts, there was hidden the pure drama and experimental touch to it all.

The rich and with attitude cut jackets and blouses were definitely the pure eye-catching sensation. The little deconstructions were on the sight on the sleeves giving us that avant-garde spirit by which this collection was possessed, possessed but in a good way! The bold and structured volume which controlled falls down looks really strong and stylistically intimidating. That origami alike silhouette has urged for a little toning down and this effect was brought in the shape of over-knee flat boots. This has just given the equilibrium the invisible sense toning down the drama and bringing it all back at the beginning, in this case, the visual strength opulency of the upper part.

The stunning indeed was the evening attire, the satin dresses in light pastel. But even here the drama was not avoided, it was kept in the spotlight by the refined cuts on the waistlines giving the subtle seductive note to it. Or, mini jumpsuits brought in the negligees alike form, once again giving the classic look a deconstructive spin but still looking glamorous and stunning!

 This collection is definitely a different kind of resort collection! With the strong and defined aesthetic which goes outside the typical fashion codes and steps in the new sphere of design, it shows how fashion is still exciting and still serves the best style inspirations!
