The name Philipp Plein has become an epitome when we talk about bold and sexy style. Some designers mix that seductive note with the refined femininity but Plein is always upfront with it, almost "in your face" kind of way. But this mode does not look pretentious or too much. With the smart urban details which have become the signature kind of statement for Plein design, his collection is the pure festivity of woman power.
In Spring/Summer 2019 Resort Collection we can see plenty of stunning looks. The animal printed dress with the long cape and ruffles on the top of the pants is the look which could be taken as the trademark or the statement of this collection. Here we have the clash of two ends, pure seductive one, and the urban one. Seems that the animal prints is something which has become so referral and common for the Philipp Plein design because in the continuation we get the same leopard print featured on the monokini alike garments.
The pure glam effect brings us the all-gold studded ensembles, the long sleek-side-cut skirt paired with the gold embroidered jacket, or the one in the form of the suit. The sleek silhouette is something that Plein preferred occasionally so the accents on the pure feminine form are inevitable. The pure urban touch is brought in the shape of all-denim solutions, which are washed out and featured with the picturesque embroideries.
The flares pants are also a highlight which comes not only in the mentioned denim solution but in the all-black ensembles too, as well as the capes and under-knee boots. This collection has brought us the sensation of the modern and youthful style with the strong seductive accents which here are looking star-studded worthy!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like the pure seductive note of it? What do you think about the Philipp Plein design, in general?
Thank you for the attention!
