THROWBACK FASH FLASH: THE STORY OF A DRESS BY GIAMBATTISTA VALLI

"First there was The Dress!" With this motto the Giambattista Valli Spring/Summer 2017 Resort Collection could be described. In the season of resort collections and in expectation for the newest ones I take you down the memory lane and show you the best of resort collections for summer/spring 2017. In this collection, which was introduced in the form of editorial with cool old factory scene. This fact only helped the ensembles to look even  more romantic and astonishing in the decadent urban concept.

As you can hint the main focus was on the dress. With light ruffles and wavy details Gimabattista Valli brought the perfect versions of summer dress. With floral prints or in monochrome form like in all white, all red Valli offered us high elegant style with touches of modern aspects. Dresses were boosted with furry appliques and the floral theme was brought on the jackets and sleek trousers. The very summerish touch was on the feet, defenitely. The golden gladiators were part of each ensemble alluring the gladiators will have come back not just in this season but in the spring/summer season of 2018 if you see the latest Chanel show. Seems like we have new (old) IT item, no doubt.

This collection showed the aesthetic pulse of Giambattista Valli. Pure feminine style with romantic design brought into the modern reinterpretation ensured us that this dresses will be rocked on the summer parties this year! With upgraded distortion of classic piece like dress it has made this collection the must have for any fashion lover and fan. Or at least the inevitable inspiration!
