Huge western vibes could be sensed in the latest Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2018 Resort Collection. Not just because it was located in Los Angeles area, not just because it was ornamented in the desert alike inscenation but because this feeling was sensed on the ensembles too. With cowboy hats, long dresses with interesting prints on them, long capes on the top, this collection was the odalisque from French fashion house to American culture and tradition.
With amazing textures and materials like cashmere boosted with fringes in typical west mannerism, soft prints´ clash on the dresses as well as on the coats which have spoken the imaginative story of west coast flora and fauna details. This collection had the approach to nature at its finest mode. With American vibe, it offered new side of Dior, west side story. Dreamy, free, fresh and astonishing!
