BETSEY JOHNSON - THE QUEEN OF POSITIVE DESIGN VIBES

Playful, quirky and seductive! Those words perfectly describe fashion made by Betsey Johnson! She is famous for bringing that spiritual optimism into her fashion design. This vibrant nature of her persona can be seen in her clothes; full of life, of brave color prints, mixed textures and materials. She is decadent but very sweet in non-theatrical way, making the most outrageous design combination presented in her fashion shows.

Oh, when talking about fashion shows, those from Betsey Johnson are really true festivity of happiness and celebration of Betsey´s love for life (here I will note that she has won a breast cancer, there for her addicted optimism is really worth every admiration)! But lets back to her shows! They are rare occasions where models can be seen smiling and just having a good time. Smiling models down the runawy is always an imperative when it  comes to her shows. What I love about her fashion is how she in all of that mish-mash brings up the most feminine and stunning clothes! Betsey has very strong visual leading idea, she knows excactly for what kind type of woman she designes; woman that is sassy, sexy, flirty and self-conscious.

She likes colorful and glittery forms brought in seductive cuts perfect to boost up woman´s confidence. She doesn´t affraid to experiment with textures and animal prints giving the perfect glam to the woman. Tons of chiffon incoroprated in short and playful Lolita skirts give her fashion a girly and youthful touch. To me Betsey Johnson´s fashion and design are epiphany of her own personality; positive and brave, and "Man, so happy to be a woman!" kind of vibe!
