Fierless and with very vivid style visions. By these words the fashion by Mary Katrantzou could be described. Bold in any way, in forms and shapes as well as in the silhouettes, the festivity of creativity was on fleek in her latest Autumn/Winter 2017 Ready to Wear Collection. Lots of prints clashing each other, but not just the prints, the textures and colors too.
Pepita prints in micro detailings were the main highlight of the show. They could be seen on the coats, skirts and on the daily accentuated ensembles. Not just the forms of the pepita textures were versatile, but in colors too. From classic grey to more playful violet and pink. The very colorful shapes were dispalyed on the midi dresses, flowerish appliques with fringes on the petals giving the extra three dimensional effects. Not to mention the shiny embellishments in light balayage effects on the evening dresses in long forms.
This collection had everything one stylisticly worthy and inspiring edition needs too; brave attitude, coloristicly vivid spectrum, boldness in textures and classy in cuts and forms. Perfect match for fashion consumers who ask more from fashion; a statement of difference and originality. This all was the show by Mary Katrantzou! And we love it and need more!
What do you think about this collection? Which piece could you wear?
Thank you for the attention!
