Yesterday it was revealed that Ricardo Tisci, the creative director of Givenchy is leaving this luxury high fashion label after twelve years of really successful work. What will be the next move of Mr. Tisci, we still don´t know but we know what his latest couture collection looked like. So this post is all about that. But let me mention here that Tisci will be missed at the head of Givenchy, his impecable fashion and design sense for wearable but by amazing decadence highlighted ensembles.
This last collection was at the same path, but offering us something new! All in one print displayed gowns combined with same alike boost and shoes giving to the monochrome look more edgy and playful twist. Not to mention famous fringes´ overload through the whole ensembles giving the spectacular peek-a-boo game when moving! Elegant but strong femininity for which Givenchy lately has been a synonym has defenitely bursted in this collection!
The final ensembles were rich embroidered long gowns with strong lace ornaments in Kim K. mannerism! The prints´ game disappearing at the end leaving us only black or soft rose gowns. But I have to mention that some kind of melancholy vibe was sensed, maybe because Tisci consciousnessly made this collection knowing that it was his last for Giwenchy! We are excited about the next move of Ricardo Tisci, but will be keeping eyes open to see who will be ahead of Givenchy and what kind of its aesthetic design will be next!
Do you like this collection? What do yot think for which fashion house Ricardo Tisci will be working next?
Thank you for the attention!
