As the New York Fashion Week hits on the one of the most anticipated collection was defenitely the one from Monique Lhuillier! Having on mind that this fashion week is in ready to wear dispaly range, the ensembles presented by this fashion house were very couture alike with youthful and edgy twist to it! The variety of textures, from glittery embellishments to more boldly colorful prints to deep black mysterious laced up gowns, we need to say that this collection was a "ready to wear" perfection!
The main piece was the dress, either in mini cocktail version or shape of long evening dresses. The mini dresses were more on the casual side very wearable during the day while the long gowns had defenitely more glamorous effect. The cuts were interesting; very low cuts up front with very voluminous down parts or very sleek silhouette but more light and loosed up approach. The style perfection was in form of two pieces; wide pants with romanticly design blouses! Especially stands one in moon dusty color with puffed sleeves on the ends! If you think how to look feminine in the trousers than this was the perfect example!
This collection had pure feminine boost but in very modern fresh interpretation! The design was glamorous but with edgy side to it! Defenitely a fashion hit, for sure! The variety of offered prints, colors and textures showed the heterogenic approach to ready to wear collection! Something what is very important when we talk about pret-a porter fashion! This collection was defenitely ready to wear, ready to shine, ready to be a style star!
What do you think about this collection? Do you feel couture vibes in it?
Thank you for the attention!
